1/52 in Pictures

I decided for 2017 I want to become a little more organized.  I take a lot of pictures, but I don't look back on them too often.  I thought I could make weekly blog posts showing my favorites.  So, here is my week in Unedited Photos.

We lit sparklers.  

We took my Dad up to St. Petersburg for some very delicious coffee at Bandit Coffee.  

He enjoyed their Cortado. 

We also stopped at the Italian Market while we were there.  We will definitely be going back soon!

Felix turned 6 Months Old.  I took some photos that have yet to be edited.  

Felix also started Solid Foods.  First, Sweet Potatoes.  

We got a new rug. I think I like it, but I am still a bit unsure.

How to : Improve Pool Deck | Behr Concrete Stain

We recently purchased a new home.  It has a ton of great features, but it needs a bit of work.  The first task we decided to tackle was the pool and pool deck. 

The pool prior to any change.  

The first thing we did was drive down to the pool supply store and purchase a ton of chlorine and other pool cleaning supplies.  I have no idea how much my husband put in the pool, but it made a huge difference almost immediately.  

My husband took a deck broom and scrubbed the pool deck with chlorine.   This cleaned the deck, but also prepared it for the concrete stain.

My Father-in-law already owned the Behr Concrete Stain in the color Fresh Cement.  It's what he uses on his pool deck.  He brought what he had over for us to test out.  

Although, it was a huge improvement it wasn't exactly what I had in mind (I wanted white).   The stain soaked up in the patio and required quite a few coats.

We ended up going to Home Depot to purchase 5 Gallons of the concrete stain along with a fluffier roller brush (to soak up the stain better).

We chose the Behr Concrete Stain in Ultra Pure White 6050.  I still took a booklet home to make sure that I made the right decision.  I did!

And two liberal coats later we had a very white pool deck! I don't think it could have turned out any better.

My Valentine.  

Graham and I spent Valentine's day together.  I took him to the local botanical gardens.

Bike Rides for Babies.  -  Graham LOVES his Radio Flyer Trike we got him for Christmas.  If you have a baby around 9 months or a bit older I highly recommend this!  

Side Note : Graham has officially sprouted his two front teeth this week. And he's happy! I have been a bit terrified of this teething thing, but his been a real trooper!

I have a lot of goals this year.  One of which is to take lots of pictures! I mean LOTS!!  I want to be able to document my life.  I feel that I never regret taking pictures, but I do regret not taking more.  The world is digital, so, this is where I will take advantage!

Rose Gold Goodies (Leather, Jewelry, Makeup & Hair)

I recently held a Giveaway on my YouTube Channel.  If you didn't win don't be disappointed there will be many more held in the future.  I just wanted to show the items given away because I think they are pretty amazing!  

First of all, I have always wanted one of the Rebecca Minkoff MAC/Mini MAC Handbags and when I saw the Black Leather with the Rose Gold Hardware I knew this was THE one.  So, I ended up purchasing the Larger size for myself and the Mini MAC as a giveaway prize.  

I used mine a lot while I was pregnant, but now that I am mommy I have been using my diaper bag.  

And as lovely as the bag is I still didn't feel it was quite enough to do as a giveaway for my subscribers (I have a tendency to over do things).  So, I thought I would keep it with the rose gold theme and since you all probably know that I LOVE jewelry I added one of my staple pieces!  The Lisa Taubes 42" Rose Gold Vermeil Link Chain (I'm wearing my 5' one in the video).  And then it kept growing.....

So, I added Makeup..... The Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow in Rose Gold (I forgot to show it in the video, but still thought I should include it). And the NARS And God Created the Woman Eye Palette Set...

And a Model Mirror (The Winner had a choice... she chose the Skull)...

I didn't think Miss RavenLynn78 Would mind if I opened the eyeshadow to photograph.  I do also own both of these if anyone wants swatches.  

And it's always important when giving a wallet or a handbag to add in a dollar for good luck!

What's in My Shower?!

Welcome to my shower! 

 

I have two areas where I keep all of our products.  First, is just a ledge in the shower.  I would prefer not to have anything on this area, but we just have too many products. 

 

On the Ledge:

 

Clarisonic Pro - We use this with the body brush.

Clarisonic Mia - This is a must have product for me!  I even have my husband using it :-)

Philosophy Purity One-Step Facial Cleanser - It's a very nice cleanser with a very subtle scent.  It's perfect to use in conjunction with the Clarisonic Mia.   

Kiehl's Crème de Corps Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish - I have literally used about half the bottle thus far.  I am really happy with it. I'll give a complete review once I am finished, but as of now I think I'll be repurchasing this!

Kiehl's Pineapple Papaya Facial Scrub - In the video I mentioned that it's alright, but after using it again this morning I think it's actually making my skin softer. 

Philosophy Papaya Body Wash - My husband is the primary user of this.  It  has a nice tropical scent

Shu Uemura Moisture Velvet Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner - The Best.

Shu Uemura Clarifying Shampoo - I like this, but I don't think I'll repurchase it (Plus, it will last me a LONG time).  I use it once every other week to remove any excessive build up.

Molton Brown Vitalising Vitamin AB+C Bath & Shower - I use this everyday. I love the scent. It's very fresh!

Molton Brown Invigorating Suma Ginseng Bath & Shower  - My husband loves this one and it's smells really nice and masculine, but he hates the price, so he uses it only on occasion.
